Beautiful Dal Duo From South Carolina Shelter… New Names, New Beginnings

fellafidoFella and Fido were two handsome, middle-aged Dalmatians turned into a high-kill shelter in South Carolina. We said YES!!  to both of them when asked about possible rescue and had them transported to Karen H., our Gainesville foster home. Thanks to her and volunteer Donna A. for taking good care of these two. It did not take long for them both to land new, wonderful homes.

Fella is now Domino. He lives with new pet parents Simone & Chris. They let us know that he is doing great. "He loves to run around at the dog park chasing his squeaky toy.  He's very friendly, loves people and other dogs." A photo was shared of him playing with his Kong toy while his "sister" Toffee sleeps right next to him. Simone writes that he is the "best dog we've ever had (their 4th dal)"!

fido_aka_annabellaFido is now "AnnaBelle". Her new Mom writes that, "She is the most wonderful creature! She is so loving and sweet and very affectionate. She has adapted to living with her new family wonderfully. We're still trying to work on making her feel comfortable with other people, but we love her and she adores us and helps to heal the hole that was left when we lost our Sarah Beth (former Dal). Thanks for all you do for these wonderful gifts from God."
We love their new homes and new names! It's heartwarming that longtime Dal lovers are willing to give second chances to those spots in need.
