New Home, New Name, New Life!

xandergoinghome4Xander isn't a Dalmatian but he is black and white. He's another lucky boy when DRTB went scouting for Dals to save. Found as a stray, he landed in Pasco County Animal Control. Because of your donations, we had funds to board him even though no foster home was available.

xandergoinghome3After spending a month at the kennel, due to the loss of one of our senior care-for-life Dals, Sandy B. stepped up to again fill her house by taking in Xander. He quickly became a favorite playmate of her other rescues and had a happy foster home. Three months passed before the perfect adoption application came through.

xandergoinghome1Enter the Valenti family. Having recently lost their Boston terrier, Xander caught their eye on Petfinder. Part Dal and part Boston terrier; this young cutie was just what they were looking for.

The Valenti family has renamed him Kramer after Dad's favorite television show and says he is definitely a part of their family now. He has two teenagers to entertain now... a big job for a little guy but we're sure he's up to the job!
Thanks to volunteers Pat H. for pulling him, Amy F. for spending time with him, Sandy B. for fostering him and Mary E. for Xander’s photo shoot...  a team effort in finding his new place.
