Georgia Peach "Kimber" Settles in Florida

kimber_in_GAKimber was one of many, many dogs found as strays in rural Georgia. Lucky for her, she was white with black spots and met our criteria for Dalmatian rescue. A young, energetic, smart girl, we quickly found out that Kimber could and would jump fences. Probably how she became a stray.

After flunking her two foster homes because of her attempts to leave, Kimber finally settled in a foster home with Mary Ellen who has no fenced in back yard for her to escape. It was also going to have to be the type of forever home that Kimber would need to be safe in.

kimberchristmasSome beautiful photos of a dolled up Kimber on Petfinder finally brought in the perfect application of a new owner. Jordan, a law student, was looking for a companion to keep her company and get her out of the house for exercise

Kimber now visits dog parks daily (with high fences) and has many doggy friends. She also walks with her new Mom every morning for 45 minutes. She snuggles on the couch next to Jordan while homework is being done.  Perfect soulmates!

Many thanks to everyone involved in Kimber's rescue.
