OMG!!! We are just about speechless; you made our Dal-loween Celebration the most successful one to date! After all the tallies were totaled, we raised almost $5000 to keep us saving spots ... THANK-YOU EVERYONE!

We had another perfect day for our event in Lake Park. Bumper brought his firetrucks again this year; they really make a wonderful backdrop to our dogs. Susan, our founder, and Mary Ellen emceed while Lee provided music. We want to recognize Pampered Pets Gifts, Satauri Wood Working, Paw Prince, Josh’s Firehouse Treats, and Susan C. with her Lucky Toss Game for their participation in making our day special. There was plenty of food & treats courtesy of Frank, Claudia, & George. Brenda Knoll was there again to take photos and Eve came to do Canine Massage. We also had Kimberly Leser from Gary Gero’s Bird’s & Animals Unlimited with Peyton a “Marley & Me” dog who showed his talents. We also want to thank Kathey for donating the cost of the shelter, Ronni for another generous donation in memory of Domino, as well as Sharon R & Shelby R for their equally generous donations. Of course, all the folks that spent so generously in our raffles and auctions.
Of course, what is Dal-loween without Contests & Games? There were some very creative costumes to be viewed. Our winners are:

- Costume Winner was Dan P’s Pandora who was a colorful witch.
- Second place again belonged to Karen H's Benjamin, this year he was a bunch of grapes.
- Third place was the Gregory’s Molly who came as a cheerleader for Team K-9!
Our game winners were:

- Pumpkin Dash – Dan P & his speedy girl Pandora.
- Popcorn Toss - was Sue F’s Cali who did all Dal’s proud.
- Bone Bob – Dick & Maureen’s Lily who gobbled bones with abandon.
Our auctions & drawings were awesome; the silent auctions alone raised $1500. Chris C. won the 50/50 drawing and generously donated his winnings back to the rescue.
We also want to thank EVERYONE who brought donations to the picnic. If you have any pictures from this year's event please share them with us so we can get them up on the website.
Can’t wait to see what we can do for Dal-loween 2012!
